  INFORMATION-EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Day Horse Camp Mon.-Fri.- 9-2 pm  ages 6-16. Cost is 250.00 per wk. Medieval Knights camp cost is 275.00. Spring Saturday Horse Camp 1 pm- 6 pm. Cost is 50.00. Residential horse camp- Mon. 9:00 -Fri. 2:00- cost 850.00. 75.00 non refundable, non transferable deposit is due with registration. 175.00 deposit  due with Residential Horse Camp.

Camp weeks are:every week  EXCEPT the week of 7/4

Catered Lunches- well balanced meals with a variety of horse theme dishes.

Transportation to and from the Arboretum available. Limited spaces. 50.00 per week.

  Discounts available10 % off for multi siblings or for multi  weeks.(discounts cannot be combined) Discounts for multi siblings at after camp care: one child 7.00 per hr./2 children 10.00 per hr. After camp care any hours between 2-6pm

 Bring shorts. We supply the helmets.

         SPRING HORSE CAMPS

          Experience a sample day of summer horse           camp this spring.

         One day horse camps will serve as an          introduction to the world of horses. This is          an opportunity to see what horses are all          about while learning the basics. This gives          the camper a chance to become familiar          with the barn, the horses and helps prepare          for a week at summer horse camp!          Transportation available. Lunch included.

The residential horse camp is a more in-depth learning experience and it will give the campers exposure to the basics of a variety of interesting horse professions. Each subject will be appropriate for a wide range of ages and interest levels. These topics will give the camper a look into the equine industry with hands on experience and knowledge. This horse camp is appropriate for the camper who considers a future with horses or for the camper who really wants to indulge their passion for horse riding and quench their thirst for knowledge of the horse world.

Horse Riding sessions for campers will consist of two daily sessions of quality instruction. The first session will be an evaluation with questions on each campers individual riding goals. The afternoon riding sessions will be geared toward achieving those goals. The morning riding sessions will involve fun events or other riding experiences, such as trail riding, bareback riding etc.

Campers will be responsible for the complete care of one camp horse. Including: feeding, grooming, hoof care, stall care, first aide and horse health.

This camp offers the opportunity to naturally develop character building through the love of horses and horseback riding. Self sufficiency, leadership skills, team cooperation, and a 'I can do' attitude is encouraged throughout the week.

Each camp is a unique assortment of activities that offers a safe, positive, diverse environment where children gain confidence and build self-esteem.  Our active Adventure camp exposes campers to a variety of challenging and exciting activities that will strengthen their appreciation for teamwork and personal accomplishment.
